Nonprofit One Pager Design for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law

The D.C.-based nonprofit, Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law requested a one-pager designed to feature their Election Protection hotline program. I used my previous years of non-profit graphic design work and decade of experience as a visual designer to turn ‘text walls’ into visually appealing and easy-to-read designs.

Research

Questions:

  1. Who is the main audience of this EP one-pager? What is their age range?

  2. How will this material be delivered to your audience? Mail? Download?

  3. For brand consistency, would you happen to know the fonts used on previous projects or throughout the current brand? ( They did not have an internal style guide)

From the research, I discovered the audience for the EP one pager would be donors/funders. The age skewed older. Typically the document would be sent via email but might be printed occasionally. I knew I wanted to design something that was easy to read with clear sections and bold headers.
