Ulman Foundation Brand Refresh
Brand Identity / Visual Design / UX
The Ulman Foundation, a nonprofit in Baltimore, has continued to build its recognition as the national leader in the young adult, cancer support community for the past 21 years. Using their new logo and brand mark, I took part in their brand refresh to create a bold new identity with cohesive marketing material, including a new website design.
Role
Visual + UX Designer / Brand Strategist
Tasks
Brand Refresh, Graphic Design, Photography, Vector Illustration, Website Redesign
The challenge
Establish a cohesive brand identity over all printed and digital media using new logo assets and brand guidelines while redesigning key organizational marketing material, including the organization’s WordPress website.
Visual Solution
Power in the brand name. Strong identity. Community Focused. Data-driven.
Website Refresh
The Ulman Foundation site was redesigned using WordPress, keeping existing workflows around key organizational needs such as modal functionality, accordion text boxes, and easy event management. Headers and button text were simplified to guide the user experience. Edits to site copy highlight the impact and stories of the community members.
