Using seamless carousels in Instagram to craft a virtual Havre de Grace Farmers Market user experience

Digital Marketing / Visual Design

How do you get your community back out to your farmers’ market after a global pandemic? My idea was to bring the farmers’ market to them, letting them engage from the safety of their phones until they were ready to come out and enjoy the experience.

Tasks

Digital marketing strategy, social media management, graphic design, caption copywriting

The challenge

Develop a social media strategy and provide consistent social media management.

Content variation

Content variation adds texture to a digital feed. I designed the feed to have a mix of vendor featurettes, branded text posts, item highlights, and location shots. This added digital diversity and shot diversity showcasing the variety of artisan products the community has to offer.

Graphic Design

Seamless Carousel Post Designs

I crafted seamless carousel posts to increase engagement while creating an experience. With the uncertainties of COVID still lingering in the air, I wanted to highlight the market experience with posts that mimicked walking past the tables of your favorite vendors, at a safe distance, all from the comfort of your phone.
